Edgar Andrews

Edgar has been a teaching and preaching Elder of the Campus Church since its foundation and, as an octogenarian, remains its acting-pastor. He is married to Thelma. In his wider Christian service he has written books on science and faith, creation and evolution, the Holy Spirit, preaching Christ, and Bible commentaries on Galatians and Hebrews. His book "Who made God? Searching for a theory of everything" (2009) has sold over 40,000 copies and been translated into several foreign languages (see link to www.whomadegod.org on links page). His most recent book "What is Man? Adam, alien or ape?" was published in 2018 and rate 4.5 stars on Amazon UK and USA. He was also chairman of Evangelical Press for 20 years and editor of the Evangelical Times newspaper for over ten years. In his professional life he is Emeritus Professor of Materials Science in the University of London, having served before retirement as the founder and Head of the Department of Materials and as Dean of Engineering at Queen Mary College (now Queen Mary University of London). He has a doctorate and a higher doctorate in physics.
